Floor coverings in apartments and houses are most often tiles or laminate. Practical and durable materials allow you to create a cozy atmosphere.
It is important to choose the right color, which is also an integral part of the interior.
Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of design and interior, spoke about the advantages of light flooring.
Dark floor
It looks noble, but along with all its qualities it has only one drawback.
The smallest dust and dirt are visible on it, and therefore you will have to clean the house more often.
Light floor
Certainly a winning solution. Only at first glance it may seem that there are more problems with light materials.
This is indeed true when it comes to textiles.
But in the case of flooring, everything is just the opposite:
- dust, dried moisture stains and other contaminants are almost invisible on it;
- it looks no less elegant in comparison with dark materials;
- Light colors help to visually enlarge the space.
Also, designers do not recommend using dark-colored floor coverings for small and dark rooms.
