By including certain foods in your diet, you can normalize your blood pressure.
American nutritionist Marta Teran spoke about this.
The expert listed foods that are beneficial for hypertensive patients in a conversation with the publication Eat This, Not That .

What hypertensive people need to eat
First, you need to include whole grains in your diet.
Thanks to fiber, they lower cholesterol and thus normalize blood pressure.
Secondly, foods containing omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as fatty fish, help prevent hypertension.
An alternative to expensive salmon can be sardines, mackerel, and herring.
Thirdly, for hypertension it is useful to eat berries – blueberries, strawberries, raspberries.
Berries contain many antioxidants that help normalize blood pressure.
Fourthly, bananas. Rich in potassium, which improves the cardiovascular system. One banana a day is enough.
The nutritionist also recommended including leafy greens and beets in the diet.
Leafy greens are rich in potassium, beets are rich in antioxidants and nitrates, which relieve vascular spasms and improve blood circulation.
