For mild sleep problems, exercise and avoiding caffeine can help.
This was reported by a general practitioner from Ufa, Bairas Valeev.
The specialist gave advice on how to combat insomnia in a conversation with UfaTime.ru .

How to get rid of insomnia
As Valeev explained, in case of mild insomnia it is enough to observe sleep hygiene.
To do this, you need, firstly, to go to bed and wake up at the same time, including on weekends.
Do not sleep during the day, do not use your bed for watching TV, reading, or eating.
Create an environment conducive to sleep. The bedroom should be dark, quiet, cool, and the pillows should be comfortable.
Avoid consuming beverages and products containing caffeine, including chocolate, tobacco and alcohol.
Regular exercise (but not late in the evening) and exposure to bright light during the day will also help.
Bright daylight, the doctor explained, improves the regulation of circadian rhythms.
If insomnia is severe, Valeev added, you should consult a specialist.
