How do most people brew tea? Pour boiling water over it, let it steep, and drink.
However, experts say this is wrong.
We'll tell you how to actually brew tea.

How to brew tea correctly
It depends on the type of tea. Some types are strictly forbidden to be poured with boiling water.
The standard method can only be used to brew black and herbal teas.
For green tea, the optimal water temperature is 80 degrees.
If you pour boiling water over green tea, the drink will lose its aroma and become bitter.
For white tea the optimal temperature is 85 degrees, for oolong – 90.
The second common mistake is steeping the tea too long.
For black tea, for example, three minutes is enough.
It is recommended to brew oolong, green and white teas for four minutes, herbal teas for five minutes.
