Mathematics, which is considered the queen of all sciences and without which it is simply impossible to live, is not loved by everyone.
There is no point in hiding it, many children and adults are frankly afraid of this subject, and most of them did not like mathematics at school.
British scientists from Loughborough University decided to find out why this happens and came to an interesting conclusion.

It turns out that fear of mathematics or dislike of the subject is instilled in children by adults.
Fear of mathematics
According to researchers, discomfort, uncertainty and fear of calculations are experienced by about 30% of all people.
This is a real problem because anxiety manifests itself in sweating, increased heart rate, and sometimes dislike for the subject leads to dizziness and an upset stomach.
What is the reason?
Scientists believe that this attitude towards exact science is instilled in children by adults who are not very good at calculations.
The hypothesis was tested experimentally with the participation of 126 parents of children aged 3-5 years.
Research has shown that if parents experienced stress when working with numbers, their children demonstrated lower abilities in mathematics.
According to scientists, parents instill a dislike for the subject when they avoid playing math games with their children.
That's why scientists advise adults to maintain a positive attitude toward science, even if they're not great with numbers.
