The recipe for an unusual version of syrniki was shared by the expert of the online publication Belnovosti in the field of cooking, chef, fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova.

How to make syrniki without cottage cheese

Cottage cheese can be replaced with… sour cream. It is advisable to choose a product with a fat content of at least 20 percent.

Place 200 milliliters of sour cream in a bowl and add 5 tablespoons of semolina (this is the secret additive).

Mix the contents of the container well and wait for about a quarter of an hour.

Next, add one raw egg, 3 tablespoons of sugar and a pinch of salt to the mixture.

After mixing thoroughly, use the next additive - wheat flour (3 tbsp.)

Stir the mixture again and leave it untouched for 10 minutes.

Once the time is up, start frying the cheesecakes.

The flatbreads need to be cooked for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.

As a result, you will get flat and not very airy, but delicious cheesecakes.
