Men's Health called this cake "sweet revenge on sugar."
The base is avocado and dates, which replace flour and sugar.
Nutritionist Olga Usenko (300k followers on social media) explains: “This is a vitamin bomb with potassium and magnesium.”

Take 2 ripe avocados, 200 g of dates (soak for an hour) and 50 g of cocoa. Beat in a blender until smooth, put in a mold and cool for 2 hours.
Pastry chef Igor Grishechkin (restaurant "Pushkin") admits: "If they hadn't told me that it was flour-free, I wouldn't have believed it. The taste is like a classic brownie."
If the dates are too dry, soak them in warm water for 2 hours. Choose soft avocados without black spots – otherwise the cake will be bitter. No dates? Replace them with figs or prunes – experiment!
Keto blogger Marina raves: “Finally, a cake that doesn’t put you into a food coma.” Dates provide natural sweetness, avocado – creaminess, and cocoa masks the “green” taste.
Decorate with berries or nuts – and the dessert is ready to conquer even those who hate a healthy lifestyle.
For a chocolate gloss, melt a bar of dark chocolate with coconut oil and drizzle over the cake. Nutritionist Usenko advises: “Add a pinch of sea salt – it will enhance the chocolate flavor.”
By the way, this dessert will look great on a festive table if you decorate it with edible flowers. This is a great way to show your guests that healthy sweets can be delicious too.
