Yulia Arkhipova, an expert in the field of cooking for the online publication Belnovosti, a cook and fourth-class baker, spoke about a quick way to prepare French fries.
How to Make French Fries in 5 Minutes
It turns out that this dish can be cooked in... a microwave oven.
First, peel 300 grams of potatoes, cut them into strips and place them in a deep container.
Pour plain water over the potato pieces. Rinse the vegetable and drain the liquid. Repeat the procedure described in the paragraph 2 times.
Then place the bars on paper napkins.
Once the excess moisture has been removed, transfer the potatoes to a bowl, add 10 milliliters of vegetable oil, salt (a quarter teaspoon), paprika (a third of a teaspoon) and a little ground pepper.
Mix the contents of the container thoroughly.
After this, take a large, flat microwave-safe plate and arrange the potato pieces in a single layer on the plate.
The potatoes should be heated in a microwave oven for about five minutes (power - 800 W).
As a result, you will get a gorgeous dish: appetizing, crunchy, but not fried.
