Are you tired of trying to persuade your child to finish his pasta? Stop hiding vegetables in sauce or promising sweets - there is an easier way.
One ingredient you're definitely not using can turn even simple spaghetti into a kid-friendly dish.
And this is not cheese! We are talking about a product that can be found in every kitchen, but you don’t even know how to use it.

The secret is toasted oatmeal with honey. Crush the oatmeal into crumbs, toast in a dry frying pan, then add a spoonful of honey and a pinch of salt.
You'll get a sweet and salty topping with a crunch like corn chips. Kids love this contrast!
But if you want to surprise them even more, replace the oatmeal with crushed pistachios.
Toast the nuts with a drizzle of maple syrup until they're sticky and flavorful, like candy coating.
Another life hack is “invisible” paprika. Mix ground sweet paprika with powdered sugar (1:1) and sprinkle on pasta.
The color will be bright and the taste will be slightly fruity, but not spicy.
And to intrigue the little ones, add some food glitter (gold or silver will do) to the mixture – they’ll think they’re eating “space” toothpaste.
And most importantly: serve the pasta not hot. Children hate burning their tongues. Cool it to room temperature, put it on a bright plate and decorate with sprinkles.
Now even the most capricious eater will ask for more, and you will forget about tears at the table.
