How to cook borscht with apple
First, you need to cook the broth. Place 250 grams of chicken thighs in a saucepan with 2.5 liters of water.

The broth should bubble gently. This cooking should continue for 20 minutes.
Next, you need to remove the chicken meat from the pan and pour 200 grams of diced raw potatoes into the dish.
After 7 minutes, add 200 grams of shredded cabbage to the broth.
After another 7 minutes, add the fried mixture to the pan.
The latter is said as follows: first, fry 50 grams of chopped onion and 60 grams of grated carrot in a frying pan, then add 60 grams of grated beetroot and an apple chopped in the same way. This is the very secret ingredient that turns borscht into a culinary masterpiece.
After a couple of minutes, add 40 grams of tomato paste to the heated fruit and vegetable mixture. The resulting mixture should be stewed for another 5 minutes.
By the way, along with the fried vegetables, you need to add skinned and boneless chicken meat to the borscht being prepared.
After using all these additives, bring the borscht to a boil and then turn off the heat.
The finished borscht should sit in a closed pan: wait at least 5 minutes.
