Annoying accidents can spoil even the most careful renovation. What to do if a small section of wallpaper is damaged? Don't think that the only option is to re-paper the entire room.
Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino suggested a creative approach to finding a solution to eliminate defects in wallpaper.
Butterflies
You can decorate the wall with a whole flock of butterflies – volumetric, three-dimensional or flat appliques. The main thing is that there are several of them (at least three), then no one will notice the spot damage to the wallpaper.
Picture gallery
If you turn one of the walls in your apartment into a gallery with works of art, you will earn the respect of your guests and loved ones, and the defect on the wallpaper will go unnoticed.
Flowerpot with a plant
To disguise a damaged area of wallpaper, use a plastic plant pot, nails and a hammer. Attach the plant pot to the wall in the defective area and plant a climbing plant in it. This will hide the defect and add greenery to the interior.
