The US dollar strengthened continuously in our country from September 16 to 24.
During this time, the dollar won 7 victories in a row on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
However, today, September 25, the situation with the American currency has changed dramatically.
The dollar unexpectedly fell, losing about a quarter of a percent.
But all other major currencies strengthened against the Belarusian ruble today.
Trading results on September 25
On Wednesday, the following rates for the main foreign currencies were set at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange :
- dollar - 3 Belarusian rubles 21.33 kopecks;
- euro - 3 Belarusian rubles 60 kopecks;
- 100 Russian rubles - 3 Belarusian rubles 47.42 kopecks;
- 10 Chinese yuan - 4 Belarusian rubles 61.97 kopecks.
Changes in exchange rates
The dollar fell in Belarus for the first time since September 13. The loss was 0.0088 points (-0.27 percent).
The euro returned to growth after yesterday's misfire: plus 0.0172 points, or 0.48 percent.
The Russian ruble strengthened against its Belarusian counterpart after eight consecutive losses: plus 0.08 percent.
The yuan scored its seventh straight victory today, up 0.11 percent.
