They will be distinguished not only by their gigantic size, but also by their juiciness and luxurious taste.
How to feed beets to get huge root crops
You need to use a mixture consisting of the following components:
- NPK 10-10-10 fertilizer (20 grams);
- potassium sulfate (10 grams);
- magnesium sulfate (5 grams).
This combination must be placed in a bucket, almost the entire volume of which is filled with plain water.
The resulting solution should be used to water the beetroot tree trunks.
Each plant should receive no more than a liter of prepared liquid.
The procedure should be carried out in mid-summer, since it is during this period that the root crop mass rapidly increases.
If you use the above mixture too early, the gardener will get a lot of tops, but not large beets.
And if you apply the composition too late, the root crops simply will not have time to become gigantic.
