These single-celled fungi contain proteins, carbohydrates, B vitamins and minerals – that is, the substances that plants need for growth and development.
In addition, yeast feeding activates the activity of microorganisms in the soil, improves its structure and increases fertility.
Preparation of top dressing
To make a yeast-based fertilizer, you will need 1 tablespoon of dry yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Both dry ingredients should be dissolved in a liter of warm water.
Let the future fertilizer sit for about 2 hours, then dilute it with water, keeping the ratio 1 to 5.
That's it, actually - the composition is ready for use. The plant should be watered with it every two weeks.
Fertilizer options
In addition to yeast, you can use wood ash to fertilize the money tree to saturate the flower with potassium, phosphorus, calcium and other useful substances.
The watering mixture is prepared simply: 200 g of ash is diluted in 5 liters of water and left to infuse for a week.
Another option involves using tea leaves that have already been used.
The main thing is not to resort to its help too often: it is enough to add a small amount of tea leaves into the pot once a month.
