Agronomists have been hiding a cheap life hack for tomatoes for decades.
Forget about expensive fertilizers! When planting, add a handful of onion peel and 1 teaspoon of dry yeast to the hole.
The husk repels pests, and the yeast stimulates root growth.

In a week, the bushes will turn into powerful "trees" with thick greenery. Fertilizer sellers are furious - their products are no longer needed.
Yeast activates soil bacteria, which convert organic matter into phosphorus available to plants.
But you can't abuse them - excess causes potassium deficiency. 10 days after planting, add ash (100 g per bush) so that the balance is not disturbed.
Onion peel can be replaced with garlic peel. Its sharp aroma will drive away even the Colorado potato beetle.
And if you add a pinch of cinnamon to the hole, the roots will be protected from rot.
Banana peel has a similar effect - if you wish, you can use it as an alternative.
Dry the peels left after eating the fruits, grind them and bury them under a bush. Potassium from the peel will increase the sugar content of the fruits.
The main thing is not to overdo it: 1 tbsp per hole is enough.
Advice from farmers: after planting, water the tomatoes with nettle infusion (1 kg of greens per 10 l of water). The nitrogen "cocktail" will speed up growth and protect against chlorosis.
