Many gardeners who grow tomatoes make the same mistakes on the eve of each new season.
They are in a hurry to sow tomatoes for seedlings.
Some people start this business in February, and some even in January.

They forget: seedlings become overly stretched due to a lack of light (even with backlighting) and warm home temperatures.
According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , for indeterminate varieties the earliest sowing is no earlier than March 6-10.
For determinate varieties, the relevant work should be carried out no earlier than March 23-27.
Remember: plants are planted in the soil at the age of 50, at most 60 days, no more.
Tomato seeds - the freshest and most active - can sprout as early as the third or fourth day.
However, others may also emerge in the near future.
The fact is that seeds of different varieties and storage periods germinate unevenly over the course of 1-2 weeks.
If after half a month they have not sprouted, check yourself to see if you did it right.
And don’t forget that the soil for planting must be new, that is, tomatoes have not been planted in this soil before.
To prevent fungal diseases, the soil needs to be treated with a solution of phytosporin.
By the way, the soil should be loose and airy.
The optimal temperature for tomato seeds, experts remind, is from +20 to +23 degrees, and after germination – within 18-21 degrees Celsius.
