Banana peels are not just a source of potassium. They contain tryptophan, a substance that stimulates the production of serotonin in plants.
Yes, they "feel" happy too!
Bury the peels 10 cm deep next to tomatoes or peppers. But first soak them in water for 2-3 days to remove any pesticide residue.

Another way is to dry the peel and grind it into powder. Add it to the holes when planting - this will protect the roots from nematodes.
And if you pour boiling water over the peel and leave it for a day, you will get fertilizer for flowers. Water roses and petunias with the solution - they will bloom a week earlier.
But be careful: fresh peel attracts ants.
To avoid invasion, mix it with cinnamon or red pepper. In a month, you will see how the plants "come to life" even in poor soil.
But that's just the beginning. Banana peels are the perfect base for liquid fertilizer. Freeze them in the freezer, then defrost and grind in a blender. Mix with water (1:5) and water the seedlings. This will strengthen the stems and speed up growth.
The peel also protects against aphids: place the pieces around the affected plants - the insects will disappear in a couple of days.
And if you're growing mushrooms, add the peel to the substrate. The sugar and starch will become food for the mycelium.
Interesting fact: the peel contains luminescent substances. Bury it under light-loving crops - they will receive more energy even on cloudy days.
And don't forget about houseplants: wipe the leaves with the inside of the peel to remove dust and add shine.
After a season, you will understand why banana is called “gold” for the garden.
