Grodno border guards discovered the body of a dead person in a swamp on the border with Poland.
It turned out that he was a refugee, a citizen of Yemen. He was found in the Svisloch district of the Grodno region.
The press service of the State Border Committee of Belarus reported the incident on its official Telegram channel.
On November 15, Grodno border guards discovered a dead refugee, a citizen of the Republic of Yemen, in the Svisloch region, the report says.
Please note: the foreigner’s body was found in a swamp located in close proximity to the Belarusian-Polish border.
An investigative task force was working at the scene of the incident.
All circumstances of the incident are currently being established, the department concluded.
