Why does a cat sleep with its owner?

2. Despite its fur, the cat has to look for sources of heat.
Animals are sensitive to temperature changes and therefore use people for warmth.
Taking into account the circumstances described in the first point, the warmth and protection of a person make a cat's sleep more comfortable.
3. Cats also get used to the smell of their owner. The smell of their owner definitely makes them feel safe.
That's why many pets sleep on things left behind by their owners when people leave the house.
So you shouldn't take the cat's behavior for granted.
Sleeping next to the owner is not selfishness, but a sign of high relationships and trust.
