Not long ago, the Guinness Book of Records recognized a Chihuahua named Pearl as the smallest dog in the world.
This two-year-old dog from the USA surprised everyone with its tiny size.
She is only 9.14 centimeters tall and 12.7 centimeters long.

Pearl weighs only 553 grams – a feather!
However, this is quite an impressive figure, if you remember that the dog’s weight at birth did not even reach 100 grams.
It is not surprising that due to these parameters the record holder is smaller than many objects that we have to deal with in everyday life, for example, a popsicle stick, a TV remote control or a dollar bill.
It can be concluded that Pearl's owners are very lucky, because they can go for a walk with their pet in their pocket.
In any case, the owners of the miniature Chihuahua dote on her - in numerous photographs on the Internet, the dog happily poses in luxurious outfits and even jewelry.
This just proves the fact that size doesn't matter when it comes to love and devotion.
By the way, the dog in question is a relative of the previous record holder.
She was a Chihuahua named Miracle Millie, who passed away in 2020.
Miracle Millie was slightly taller than Pearl, standing at 9.65 centimeters.
