In Belarus, the rules for issuing permits for diagnostic stations to conduct state technical inspections have been updated.
The changes were approved by government decree No. 919 of December 5 of the outgoing year.
The document was officially published on the republic’s legal internet portal.

According to the Ministry of Transport, what remains unchanged is that permits will continue to be issued by BELNIIT Transtechnika.
The key innovations are related to the fact that the inspection of the diagnostic station will be carried out within the framework of the administrative procedure for issuing a permit.
In order to strengthen control over the compliance of such stations with the necessary requirements, the validity period of the issued permit has been changed.
If the document is currently issued for 5 years, then after the changes come into force it will be issued for 2 years.
The changes also affected the rules for the provision of services by service workshops for the installation, activation and repair of digital tachographs.
The Council of Ministers’ resolution will come into force 4 months after its publication.
