After a few days of use, dust, animal hair, long hair and crumbs begin to accumulate in it. Cleaning such a carpet becomes hard labor.
We will tell you about one way to clean a long-pile carpet, thanks to which it will look like new.
This will remove stains and clumps of dust from the depths of the carpet.
To clean long pile flooring, you need to have a fairly powerful vacuum cleaner.
But even in this case there is no guarantee that the carpet will be clean.
Beating it out on the street is also a waste of time, which brings to mind dry cleaning.
There is one folk remedy for this case.
To prepare the powder you will need to mix:
- baking soda;
- corn starch;
- 5 carnation buds;
- 3 bay leaves;
- 1 tbsp borax.
The cloves and bay leaf need to be crushed to a homogeneous mass, using a blender or coffee grinder. Then all the ingredients need to be mixed.
After this, the powder is evenly sprinkled over the carpet, brushed with a hard bristle brush, left for a couple of hours, and then the dust and dirt are collected with a vacuum cleaner.
This way you can not only remove stains, dust and dirt, but also eliminate unpleasant odors.
