Washing will not solve this problem, since effective local action is required.
How to save a greasy shirt collar?
Ammonia
The smell of this product is not the most pleasant, but it removes stains from white items very quickly and reliably. If possible, when working with ammonia, you should protect your respiratory system and skin of your hands.
We dilute ammonia with water in equal quantities and distribute the prepared solution over the contaminated area.
After 10 minutes, you can wash off the composition and wash the shirt as usual.
Hydrogen peroxide
This remedy is no less effective than ammonia. You will need to mix a couple of spoons of liquid laundry soap with one spoon of hydrogen peroxide.
The cleaning mixture is applied to the collar for 30 minutes.
Next, you need to lightly wash the area and put the item in the washing machine.
