No one will argue that a toilet air freshener in the form of a scented pendant is undoubtedly a very necessary and very convenient thing.
But, unfortunately, we cannot say that this “accessory” has a low cost.
But we can suggest a way to save money without losing the desired effect.
To do this, all you need to do is make a similar structure yourself using penny “ingredients”, namely:
- already used holder for hanging air freshener;
- toilet soap;
- a bag of fragrant herbs (for example, mint).
First, use an old toothbrush to thoroughly wash the empty pendant, and use a sharp knife to cut the toilet soap into bars of approximately the same shape that would fit into the holder.
Place the soap in the pendant and on top of it place a folded in half packet of any herb that gives off a scent you like.
All that remains is to snap the case shut and you can use the fragrance for its intended purpose, attaching it to the rim of the toilet.
