Without carpets, any room seems uncomfortable and cold. But with carpets, the hostess gets more trouble.
It is not enough to vacuum them several times a week. Periodically, you have to take the items to the dry cleaner, and this is troublesome and expensive.
There is a simple method that allows you to clean any pile from stains and generally refresh your carpet without leaving your home.
How to proceed
You can make your own cleaning product.
Most housewives have all the necessary ingredients at home. You need to mix:
- one tablespoon of baking soda,
- the same amount of any detergent (gel or powder),
- a third of a glass of 9% vinegar.
After mixing the ingredients, pour the product into a spray bottle and begin cleaning.
After vacuuming the carpet, apply a cleaning agent to its surface.
If there are stains, additionally moisten the sponge with the product and clean them.
Leave the carpet for 15 minutes, then wet a clean brush with the remaining product and clean the pile with it.
After such cleaning, the carpet will not need to be dried for a long time, even indoors.
Then all that remains is to additionally clean the product with a vacuum cleaner and there will be no trace of dirt or odor left.
