Very often, many people face such a household problem as plaque on plumbing fixtures, which appears as a result of exposure to hard water.
An unsightly appearance is only half the trouble. But clogging of pipes and premature failure of equipment are serious.
In order to defeat the insidious domestic enemy, it is not necessary to use expensive cleaning products, which do not always cope with the task.
But some folk methods, tested by years of practice by experienced housewives, have proven themselves to be the best.
In addition, unlike household chemicals, they are safe for health. And do not affect the size of the wallet.
So, to clean the shower head, we use lemon juice (mix with water in equal proportions).
Pour this mixture into a bag, place the nozzle there, tie the bag and leave it like that for about half an hour.
After the specified time, wipe the nozzle with a sponge - and that's it. It will shine like new.
As for "showdowns" with the sink, baking soda and vinegar will help here.
Mix the first one with water in equal proportions. Apply the mixture to the dirty areas of the sink.
Next, dilute the vinegar with water (1 to 1), pour the product into a spray bottle and spray it over the soda mixture on the sink.
Leave it like this for 15 minutes, then wash off the residue and wipe the sink with a sponge.
Now let's take care of the tap. Soak a rag in vinegar and wrap it around this piece of plumbing.
Let it sit for 15 minutes, then rinse the tap with water and wipe with a clean cloth or paper towel.
