An interesting alternative to traditional wallpaper has appeared. The material has started to be bought up in large quantities. As it turns out, not in vain.
We are talking about the "mat" wallpaper that is pressed against vinyl, non-woven and paper wallpaper.
It is a glass wallpaper with a certain texture. It is characterized by its eco-friendliness, durability and "longevity".

This material is made by weaving using glass threads.
Cells matter
In some ways, "rogozhka" resembles thick burlap. The most commonly sold material is white, intended for subsequent painting.
The small cells in the “rogozhka” are filled with paint, which gives the material greater density.
The texture of the canvas depends on these cells: wallpaper can be small, medium and large.
By the way, one canvas can be painted twenty times.
Compared to traditional wallpaper, "rogozhka" has a number of advantages.
Strength
The material perfectly reinforces surfaces and prevents small cracks from spreading.
Such wallpapers are also resistant even to strong impacts. They will withstand the same scratches or dents.
The service life of the "rogozhka" is at least three decades.
Another advantage is its resistance to moisture, which makes the material ideal for any room, including the bathroom and balcony.
Accordingly, due to the “mattock” it is possible to create an optimal microclimate in the room.
Eco-friendliness
Another advantage of such wallpapers is their eco-friendliness. The material is “breathable”, that is, it lets air and steam through.
Thus, you can cover wooden and aerated concrete walls with “mattock”.
Unlike vinyl wallpaper, "rogozhka" is made from natural materials: quartz sand, clay, soda and lime.
The finished fabric is coated with a composition containing starch.
Among other advantages: "rogozhka" does not attract dust, is easy to clean, and is heat-resistant (in the event of a fire it does not support smoldering and does not emit toxic substances).
To glue such wallpaper, a special glue for glass wallpaper is used.
