Your balcony is littered with old boxes, and your neighbors drink coffee every morning among blooming roses.
The secret is not in money, but in tricks that will make even a cactus bloom like crazy.
All you need are empty plastic containers and a milk carton.
Cut a canister in half, punch drainage holes, and you have your greenery pots. Spray paint them to hide the "garbage" look.
Now the soil: mix the soil with coconut fiber (sold in pet stores for pennies) and add crushed eggshells. This will give the plants calcium and protect them from slugs.
But how do you make all this bloom? Use water from boiled potatoes. Cool it and water the plants once a week – starch works as a natural growth stimulant.
And so that your neighbors don’t see your “pots,” put them in old wooden boxes – you’ll get a stylish “rustic” design.
And the last trick: hang CDs on threads around the perimeter of the balcony. They will scare away birds and create rainbow reflections.
In a month, your balcony will become a place where neighbors come to take photos for social networks.
