Often the cause of unpleasant odors is the home toilet.
In turn, the biggest problem in this regard is the toilet, in particular its flush tank.
Many people forget about the need to regularly check its condition, focusing on combating visible dirt.
However, it is in the tank that various deposits often accumulate, which are ideal conditions for the harmful activity of microbes.
But the problem can be effectively solved with a simple method. It is enough to arm yourself with baking soda.
Its main advantage is its excellent cleansing properties and safety in terms of health.
However, it is important to drain almost all the water in the tank before the process - leave a little at the bottom.
This will allow the baking soda to adhere better to surfaces and therefore remove dirt more effectively.
By the way, it must be carefully distributed over the inner surfaces of the tank, that is, over the walls and bottom.
Once this is done, leave the tank in this state for 15-20 minutes.
Then, using a brush, thoroughly clean the surfaces, paying special attention to hard-to-reach areas.
Finally, we will rinse the tank by filling it with clean water and then draining it. This should be done two or three times to completely remove the remaining soda.
If you use this method regularly, there will be no unpleasant odors.
After one such procedure, the effect lasts for several months. Then it can be repeated.
