However, if you freeze it beforehand, the glycemic index of baked goods is reduced by half.

This means that bread in the refrigerator not only lasts longer, but also becomes healthier.

According to Agapkin, it is very convenient to store bread in the freezer, having previously cut it into portions.

It can defrost without heating in 10 minutes.

This simple trick will change the structure of the starch in your baked goods, turning it into resistant starch.

As a result, the process of its absorption will slow down, which will help avoid sharp jumps in blood sugar.
